Lake Lactation
Lactation support is within your reach.
Tana Gargalianos, BSN, RN, IBCLC
Lake Lactation provides in-home visits to support families on their lactation journey in the areas of Ohio, including western Cleveland, Lakewood, and surrounding areas. Locations more than 30 minutes from western Lakewood may require an additional travel fee. Locations more than 45 minutes from Lakewood may be accommodated, but are not guaranteed.
It’s obvious that babies do not only eat during business hours, and certainly not on a set schedule. If you find yourself needing unplanned support, please reach out. While there is appointment scheduling on the services page, flexible scheduling options are welcome and encouraged, including same day visits and non-traditional hours.
Prenatal Consult
Discuss your feeding plans and any special circumstances that may require specific planning. These may include first time breastfeeding, past feeding difficulty, history of breast surgery, maternal or infant health complexities, or simply to set you up for the best start possible for your lactation experience.
In-Home Lactation support- Initial
This visit establishes your care with a thorough history and assessment of your breastfeeding, chestfeeding, or breastmilk feeding needs. This is intended to address current difficulties and collaboratively establish a plan for feeding.
Follow-Up Visit
Many lactation issues may require follow up care to work through issues and make adjustments to the plan.
This visit may also be used later in your journey to prepare for changes in your schedule, such as return to work.
Initial in-home visit is needed to establish care if not previously established.
